While the investigation into the Coimbatore car blast incident was being carried out by a special force of the Tamil Nadu Police, the National Investigation Agency (NIA) has camped in Coimbatore to investigate the seriousness of the incident. In this situation, the Tamil Nadu government has decided to recommend the central government to transfer the car blast incident to the NIA investigation.

The NIA officials have already started the investigation today against the people related to Jamesa Mubin who died in this incident.

Following the Coimbatore incident, a consultation meeting on the state's law and order situation was held under the chairmanship of Chief Minister M.K.Stalin. Chief Secretary V. Irayanbu, Director General of Tamil Nadu Police Sailendra Babu and other senior officers participated in this meeting held at the Government Secretariat in Chennai.

After that, Tamil Nadu Chief Minister M. K. Stalin has recommended to transfer the case to the National Investigation Agency. According to a press release of the Tamil Nadu government, new police stations have been ordered to be set up at three places in Karumpukkadai, Sundarapuram and Kaundampalayam to further strengthen the security of the city of Coimbatore.

In order to prevent such incidents from happening in the state in the future, M.K. should create a special force in the police and take necessary steps to install additional modern surveillance cameras in the major cities of Tamil Nadu including Coimbatore and in the major populated areas as soon as possible. Stalin suggested.

A Tamil Nadu government press release said that M. K. Stalin has ordered the appointment of additional police officers in the intelligence wing of the state and has instructed to provide adequate security to those who provide sensitive information about the person involved in such illegal activities and those who are associated with them.

Interrogation with cousin of Jamesa Mubin

Meanwhile, the Ukkadam police have taken Jamesa Mubin's cousin Absar Khan to the Ukkadam Housing Board area for questioning.

Apsar Khan's cousin Basheer told BBC Tamil, "Apsar Khan met Mubin a few days ago. He went to see Mubin as he was not feeling well due to chest pain.

Yesterday the police took him and questioned him. Now they have taken it back for questioning. On that day, they searched the entire house and seized a laptop," he said.
